Croatia is a small country in the south of  europa. It became a state in 1990 so they couldn,t get to the World Cup 1994 in USA because it was war in Croatia then. But they got to the European Cup in England 1996. There first game was against Turkey and they won whit the only goal scored by Goran Vlaovic in the 88 min.The second game was the best fotball game I ever seen the croations beated the danish whit 3-0. 1-0 came on a penalty shot who was taken by Davor Suker, Peter Schmeichel wasen,t near it. 2-0 Zvonomir Boban, nice goal!!!! 3-0 Davor Suker again what a goal!!!! He lobbed it in from  20m. It was a history goal!!!! The third game Croatia lost, whit 3-0 against Portugal?????????? Then it was against Germany in a playoff game, and sadly enough Croatia lost whit 2-1. Davor Suker scored the only goal for croatia. The refuree was stupid, he was from sweden!! Leif,Leif,Leif bad thing!!!!!! Now Croatia is trying to get to the World Cup in France 1998.
