11 July FoM-LAN
I've just got home from FoM-LAN and after sleeping an hour or so, taking a shower and eating I've now booted up my computer to update this site (about time). The response from our visitors proves I'm not the only one who thinks this LAN was great. One thing that was really appreciated was our low prices on Jolt, pizza, Raider and a lot of other things, cheaper than regular prices. The network was switched so there we're no problem with PL and there we're plenty of servers running so that wasn't a problem either. I copied almost 10GB without anyone getting PL The only drawback was that we managed to hold the LAN during the hottest weekend of this summer. It was so hot some computers suffered from overheating. We cooled one down with ice and we had to put a 3D-card in the freezer. Another sad thing was that nobody seemed to care about the tournaments. The deadlines came and went and still some quakers hadn't even played their first match. I tried to at least get a final in the 1on1-cup but since there were no prices Kask refused to play. Since when are the prices the most important thing with tournaments? What about honor? The 2on2-tournament got to semifinals, but none of the clans there played their matches so we have no winner from FoM-LAN, only losers. Other than that the LAN was great. Since there were some great battles played it don't seems so important with tournaments, but isn't it more fun to play in a tournament than just a regular battle? We're already talking about holding a bigger LAN with much better organization, real prices (money, hardware) and approximately 1000 people. More about this later on.

15 May Inactivity
I have been away from the Quake Scene a while now. I have had some other things to take care of. I also missed Remedy 99 Scene Zone. Hopefully there will be a change, but I can't say for sure at the moment. Also from the 1st of July I might not have a computer, at least not until my new one arrives. So after that someone else must take over the updates of this site.

8 May No updates
Sorry for the lack of updates, but I have been busy finishing school (that includes a lot of parties =) And also not that many battles have been played (not official anyway). We may have lost to cult13 in an NQL-match, but I don't know for sure, info on this will be up as soon as possible. Also I've tried to get the sounds for this site to work, but have had no success so far. The plan now is to make it in flash (not the entire site, just the sounds), to do that I have to learn to use the bloody program. FoM will be at Remedy 99 Scene Zone this weekend! We will probably set up our own network since there will be no official. Caloric (an ex FoM member and co-founder), myself and a guy called David Åhlund (have been know as Commander) will try to put together a demo and some mods, links to them and all our old stuff will be up later when I get time over (maybe even a homepage?).

29 May Sounds recorded
I now have the sounds I've been wanting for this homepage. I recorded them in OAL Studio in Sollentuna, Sweden. The voice belongs to Sophie Lallet. Many thanks to her for letting me use her voice and to Jonte who helped me with some of the technical stuff. The only problem now is that I can't seem to get them to work in the HTML-code. I've asked two of my friends who are more experienced in creating homepages, but none of them have been able to help me so far. Another thing I want to do is remove the javascript that change the mainframe. I believe that I only need a target= command, but this don't want to work either.

26 May NQL lost
The reason I haven't updated is simple... I didn't have the sceenshots.. I didn't even know the score. But I will got them from cult13's homepage. That's not the way I want them, but if that's what I have to do... NQL is over for this time, we lost the group to cult13. We will win the next time, as usual =/. What have happened to the UQL-clans I don't know, I will stop worrying about that, I've already challenged them all, and they're not responding, nothing I can do.

23 May Force Majeure joins SEC
We have joined our first cup. The difference to regular leagues is that in a cup you have to win every game. If you lose you're out. We will not begin to play in this cup until next season. Most of the clans in SEC is really good, so this will be a real challenge for FoM. Also Qraven and Mutilator info is up.

22 May Force Majeure gains strength
Qraven and Mutilator joins FoM. Their info will be up soon. We're probably joining another player soon. Hopefully they will melt in with the rest of us and become part of Force Majeure. We welcome them and hope they will kick ass. Also I will (if all goes as planed) record the sounds promised for this site next week. Then I just have to figure out how to make them play...

21 May I hate compatibility!
I've found a way to work around the font size error. It's not a complete solution, but it's something. If you have a really high font size (relative to the screen resolution) the text will still be messed up, but not as messed up as before. To achieve this I had to lose some quality. The tables are no longer the exact width anymore. You will probably never notice the difference, but if you do this is the cause. Also the matches that were to be played today were canceled. The match against iM were just a prac so there's no big deal, but the UQL match against Fire is more sad. This game however never even made it to the schedule 'cause they didn't replyed my mail, neither could I find there homepage. Perhaps they've also redrawn from the quake scene. Too many clans seem to just pop up and vanish, that's a shame. It is also annoying when clans that are this unstable enters big tournaments like UQL and NQL.

20 May Homepage fixxxed
I have changed the date format; this goes throughout the entire site. I hope you find the new style nice, I do. Some small things have been optimized and again some links have been changed. I've come to realize how much trouble I will have to keep all the extern links working. Therefore I can't promise that all the links to other clans and such is always working. I will try to remove broken links if I find them, but it's impossible for me to keep track and check this regular so I won't even bother to try. I've fixxxed the title of the documents (I knew all along that they were fucked up, but I did not have time to fix it until now) and corrected some things that were wrong in the old news (most of the time I update the news after clan matches i.e. late at night when I'm tired). One problem I have discovered is the bug occurring when setting the font size in your browser higher than what's default in most browsers, witch is 12. This causes all tables and the info frame to look really awful. I don't have a solution to this problem yet, the only thing I could recommend is that you changes your settings to the default font size 12 (this is probably found under font/appearance in the preference of your browser). If you are experiencing problems other than this (or know how to solve this problem) or have some suggestions then please mailto: ZkilfinG@Swipnet.se

17 May Q3-FoM started
We have started a Q3 section of FoM with ZkilfinG, Taurus & Hubas. I just found out that you actually can play team with Q3TEST! That's sweet isn't it. There will not be any special homepage for Q3-FoM this site will cover it all. How it will be in the future is not certain, if Q3 rox we will probably leave Q1 totally, but otherwise… Who knows?

16 May A bad day for FoM
Omar has left FoM due to the fact that he has become an LPB. Good for him, but bad for FoM. Were looking for new talents right now and hope to fill the hole in the lineup that Omar left. The matches against prof and aM were played as planed, but we lost the first one to prof. How I hate maps where the enemy takes control and just keeps respawnfragging like there's no tomorrow. The second match against aM went better even if there were some trouble with lagging.

14 May Battles canceled
Some matches have been canceled. First the prac against goth, I don't know why, but I guess it was because no players showed up. Then the NQL-match against BAD was canceled 'cause they are no longer active and cult13 has postponed the game. Hopefully we will play against them next week. We may have a match agains aM on sunday but they have not been heard from so you can't be to sure. The same goes for prof. I have also fixxxed some errors, like the bug dreamweaver 'caused with the frames. Some broken links have also been removed.

11 May The new Force Majeure homepage
The new homepage features several new things. First of all a new webmaster ZkilfinG (also responsible for the design, with some help from Zortex). All fom members thanks Hubas for his work on this site, but now it's time for an update =). Another noticeable feature is the Schedule, with will show all upcoming matches and other events (such as LAN’s). Under Tournaments you can see all tournaments that Fom or some of our members are currently active in. I have also tried to link stuff all over the site, links to other clans, links to members (in the Demos section) and links to other extern web-sites. All to make it easy for you to find what you're looking for. If you find a broken link, or know the link to one of the clans that are unlinked, or have a bug-report then please mailto: ZkilfinG@Swipnet.se. If all goes well there will also be sound for this page in a couple of weeks, but since I have a lot to do I might not have the time to make the necessary recordings.

9 May FoM rox at DIE-LAN
When you come home from a good LAN you always ask yourself the same question: Why do I still play on the F#*K¤N% Internet? Well I don't know but I guess that's because you can't always be at LAN's (and why not?) and that the Internet at least offers more fun than bots. DIE-LAN was one of the good ones, even if there were no tournament there were some good fights. The only disappointment was that Hubas felt ill and went home the second evening. We got Hixo to replace him, but we never played any 4on4 matches after Hubas left. I played some 2on2 with Hixo thou, but we were both very disappointed at the matches we played. Two Battles reported from DIE-LAN, one against COTs (with DIE-LuKKus as replacement) and one against RA. We also played many 2on2 matches but I won't report them. I will only report 2on2 and 1on1 matches if there something special with them (like a final or a GG against really good players) and no matches with players replacing someone in FoM (perhaps if there should be something very special about them).
