The guides speak several lanugages.
These tours are well worth the time and effort! (Kai)
- Vasamuseet
One of Stockholm's most intresting museums.. Here you can learn all about the warship
Vasa, that sunk in Stockholm in the 17th century! It was salvaged in 1961. Go to Vasa Museet! (Kai)
Stockholm Subway
Underground/Metro/Tunnelbana. The Stockholm Underground, also known as
'the world longest art exhibition'. Check out this
site (Per)
- Laserdome
The greatest most fun "real" game there is.. Quake for real almost.. no blood
splatter and stuff though! (Kai)
- Mega
at PUB (Category Shops) If you want to find the cheapest games for you PC go
to PUB (top floor) or NK (the topfloor here too). They've got a good collection of the
latest games and even some oldies you MUST have (i.e Defender and Ultima Underworld I and
II). Sadly enough they kicked out their greatest asset and replaced him with alot of blond
bimbos who know NADA of computergames but since you do, their is no real harm
here...(Jonte)
- Stockholm Globe
Arena
and shopping centre. Haven't heard of the Globe? Well you should have! Go there and
watch a amazing and spectacular work of architecture. Go inside and watch our beloved
Djurgården play some IceHockey or listen to some of the greatest band play live (i.e
Prodigy, Metallica...) BUT do not buy the beer since it is expencive and not very tasty.
Instead go the bar in the Globe Galleria (review elsewhere on this site). (Jonte)
- The Plays
You like Videogames? You very rich? You have no computer at home? You have no Righteous
3D? Go to the plays! Originally there were three diferent "The Plays" but now
there is only one (If I am not mistaken), and you find it right between Hötorget and
Sergelstorg. A cool place with lots of machine to fiddle with. Of course they've got the
best : SEGA RALLY! (If this place is full, visit Clock (DO NOT EAT HERE!!!) they've got
their own SEGA RALLY!). (Jonte)
- The Royal Castle
While in "The Old Town" you must visit Stockholms finest building, our castle.
While nowhere near the size and splendor of the brittish castle it's still a remarkable
building. There are guided tours inside. The single most interesting place is something
called livrustkammaren,
in english the Armory.
Here you'll find lots of old stuff from the Royal Court of Sweden. (Jonte)
