eElectrostatics addresses the solution of general two-dimensional electrostatic problem. The program is again very easy to manage and it is mostly oriented for industrial application.
The charge distribution on a set of adjacent charged conductors and the resulting electrostatic field are simultaneously determined. Particular attention is paid to the edge effects. One finds in particular the following features:
1) There is the expected high concentration of charge at the conductors' corners. The program permits the evaluation of the effects of the various parameters in question on the resulting charge at a corner.
2) The program reveals also that there is a depletion region next to a corner where the charge density drops considerably below the average charge density on the conductor.
3) Several features related to the corner effect and mutual effects between the conductors are also revealed.
