eQuantumStates brings about a concise, intuitive and quick determination of the eigenstates and eigenvalues for:1) General one-dimensional problem of quantum mechanics. 2) General spherically symmetric problem of quantum mechanics.

 For the sake of diversifying its utility the program is made of two parts: educational and professional parts.

 Part I (Educational): This part explains concisely the underlying principle of the procedure involved. It also serves as an educational mean for an intuitive introduction to quantum mechanics. One defines the bounding potential manually and then tune by few mouse-clicks the energy to reach the allowable energy levels of the system. One watches at the same time the development of the bound states wave functions. Other fundamental issues such as penetration in a potential wall and perturbation effects find clear explanation here as well.

 Part II(Profesional): The approach explained in part I is utilized for problems of general scientific interest. The "manual" tuning of the energy is carried out here automatically by the computer. All what one needs is to write the expression for the desired potential. The program would then give the spectrum of energy levels together with the corresponding wave functions. There is also a file management routine within the program to save the results for further manipulations.
