
Cellist Hampus Linderholm (f. 1977), grew up in an artist's home in Waxholm, Sweden. In the year 1994, Hampus started his studies with Kerstin Thuresson. In 1997 Hampus was accepted into Professor Mats Rondin, a College of Advanced Music, Gothenburg. During this period Hampus was playing at several master classes around Europe with teachers such as William Pleeth, Truls Mörk, Zara Nelsova,and Ralph Kirchbaum.
In 1998 Hampus was a prize winner at the
International Summer Academy in Stavanger competition sponsored
by Statiol.
Hampus has been playing solo concerts in Germany in 2000 with
an upcoming performance of Saint Saens cello concerto in a-minor
with conductor Sun-Young
Lee in March 2001.
Since March 2000, Hampus has been living in Cologne under the
study of Professor Frans
Helmerson.
