While I worked and went to classes, he kept my pets company and baked banana bread. I also tried to show him some of the South by going on little trips to Savannah, Atlanta, Asheville, Nashville, Memphis, and Gatlinburg. We spent time on the beach, visited the mountains, went to the Lilith Fair, saw the Coca-Cola Museum, watched an IMAX movie, saw Graceland and an exhibit on the Incas, and toured one of America's only castles (Biltmore).  He also got to see his first lightning bugs and heat lightning.
