FRNAV-3.ZIP French navigation database for pilots. I created these files using G7ToWin and a Garmin GPS III Pilot. It contains a complete airports, navaids and VFR reporting points data base. Read my ReadMe.doc file about FRNAV-3.ZIP
French VRP.doc is a Word doc file with all the names and positions of all the French Visual Reporting Points. Download this file if you want to find your way in France. It will give you 501 navigation points.
ES-VRP.TXT is a list of Swedish Visual Reporting Points to be used with Garmin GPS and G7ToWin. Like FRNAV-3.ZIP, I created this file for pilots who are flying in Sweden.
ES-VRP Sorted.DOC is a list of Swedish Visual Reporting Points in Word format. It has also some background information and it is useful for people with other type of GPS than Garmin.
Future plans are Swedish airports/navaids database similar to the French. I also plan to complete this with a Swedish obstacle database.
Comtest This is a DOS program. It is a program to test asynchronous data communication lines using only one PC with one COM port. To be able to do that, you need a special hardware called Comtest T-Box. If you are interested, send me a mail and I will inform you about the price and issue a licensed version of Comtest. There is a version 2 available which is considerably better than the one offered for download. The latest version includes also a huge help file, where all the important facts of asynchronous communication is described. The licensed version will be the version 2 and not the one offered here for download. Version 1 is not working in a Windows NT (or similar) environment, only in a pure real old DOS. Version 2 works without problems in a DOS window under NT or Windows 95 or 98. It has not been tested under ME and Windows 2000. Comtest is 100% written in Assembly language.
ChoseColors is an ADA95 Win32ada package. It is an example on how to use common dialog boxes in an Ada environment. It is a collection of routines using Windows standard ChooseColor common dialog box. To use, include ChoseColors.adb and ChoseColors.ads in the project and call the appropriate function or procedure. It is written using Aonix ObjectAda V7.2 Professional Edition. It will probably compile under any other Win32ada compiler but I can not test that. It is offered free for download and use in non-commercial applications. This is the first example I publish. I have plans for a few other Win32Ada examples.
More will be added later. Back to My Software Engineering Page or to My Home Page.
