This image is inspired by Luis Royo's the Daisy. A totally disturbing picture from his Prohibited book. I just love it.
The unholyness of Royo's picture - the casualty, as if she just became bored. Then my mind made the leap - to kill your lover just like that, just like the spider Black Widow - after the act of love is complete, the female kills the male...
A forbidden picture - very disturbing - who am I to resist? =)
Above you can see the first pencil sketch I made - to compose the picture and organize my thoughts.
Below you can see the first version of the pencil sketch I intend to use as original for the painting. There are a few things in the picture I will fix before proceeding with the color thumbnails etc.
