AFRICANISM feat SALOME DE BAHIA:
Tourment D´AMOUR
(Yellow Productions 12")

Beats inna Afro-Brazilian way by DJ Gregory. Salome De Bahia on scat vocals. Intriguing.

KERRI CHANDLER:
Lost Tribes Of Ibadan
(Sfere Records 12")

Now, I have finally realized the greatness of Kerri Chandler. Two tracks: one Afro tinged masterpiece with heavy horn stabs and a twisted beat. Other side has Inspirations with Arnold Jarvis on vocals, a beautiful grand piano intro and a deep deep house groove.

KERRI CHANDLER:
Kerri´s Jazz Cafe
(Flipside Records 2x12")

Kerri one more time. This time around with a double set containing four groovy jazz house jams. Flawless music and perfect tools for late night sessions.

JIVA:
Stars
(Giant Steps Records 12")

A Latin-house stormer. Go for the Tom & Joyce vocal mix. Quality dance music.

BLACK SUN:
Work To Do
(Estereo 12")

Second release from Lenny Fontana off Estereo label. Last time he re-created Al Hudson´s Spread Love into a garage stormer. This time he gives Isley Brother´s classic Work To Do the house treatment and the result is once again a dedicated floor filler. True to the original, but absolutely in touch with contemporary dance music. Truly amazing.

LTJ BUKEM featuring ELLIOT:
Sunrain
(Good Looking Records 12")

Who could imagine that LTJ Bukem would come up with a summer song? Sunrain has a nice Latin touch and ethereal vocals by Elliot. It builds from a single repeated high pitched tone and develops into a beach party anthem, vaguely reminiscent of Labi Siffre´sThe Vulture A must have record for the summer parties.

JERSEY STREET:
How Could I Be Loved
(Glasgow Underground 12")

Excellent soulful vocal house music. The main mix will go into any soul mix. The dub on flip side fits perfect into the dance mix. Check it up!
