There are two stunning releases off the Out Of The Loop recordings imprint in UK. Quality deep house and then some both for discerning floors and home listening pleasure.

First out is the 12" from Fumi which opens with Notre Dame, a jazz tinged mid tempo ballad. Live instrumentation with guitar, bass, keys, flute and piano makes this a true groover. On flip are two remixes of Straight No Filter. The remix by Only Child with swooshing cymbals, Hammond organ, funky bass and percussive storms could be taken from an action movie made in 1973.


RUSS GABRIEL:
We Will Be Turning
(Out Of The Loop Recordings 12")
The second release off Out Of The Loop Recordings is by Russ Gabriel. Rumors say that he is the label owner.

We get slow strings in D-minor, congas and sub-sonic synth bass chords in four different flavors. It is a really cool piece of vinyl for home listening or the bar.


DANIEL WANG:
Nocturnes
(Environ Recordings 12")
Glittering streets, wet from rain, occasional lights from a meeting car. Crusing back to the hotel on a warm and humid night in Hong Kong. Yes, this is jazzy beats from Daniel Wang. He claims it is Berlin, but in my ears this is music for a big city in Asia. Very, very likeable music.


MORGAN GEIST:
Crash Tracks Vol.2
(Metamorphic Recordings 12")
The man behind Metro Area is back with his second 12" this year. Same as before, but different. Don't sleep on this.


JAMIE ANDERSON:
The Nu Jazz EP
(Front Room Recordings 12")
As the title implies this is a sort of jazz. Beats and a groove for serious dance floors. Check the deep John Tejada remix. I like it a lot!
