Uninstalling Internet Explorer 3.0 for Windows 95/NT

If you are using Internet Explorer 4.0, follow the instructions to uninstall Internet Explorer 4.0.

A few important notes before beginning:

Remove Internet Explorer 3.0 by following the instructions below.

1.Quit all programs.
2.Click Start, move to Settings, and select Control Panel.
3.Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
4.Select the Install/Uninstall tab and then click Internet Explorer 3.0.
5.Click Add/Remove.
6.Click Yes.

If uninstall does not work or you encounter other difficulties, please see our
additional information. If your
machine came with a of copy Internet Explorer 3.0 already installed, you may not find Internet Explorer in the
Add/Remove Programs panel. In this case please see our
additional information.
