If you are using
Internet Explorer 4.0, follow the instructions to uninstall Internet Explorer 4.0.
A few important notes before
beginning:
Remove Internet Explorer
3.0 by following the instructions below.
Please note: Installing or uninstalling software
can cause unanticipated problems. Therefore, we strongly
recommend that you back up your computer (or sensitive
applications or documents) before removing any
software from your hard drive. This information is provided

1.Quit all programs.
2.Click Start, move to Settings, and select Control Panel.
3.Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
4.Select the Install/Uninstall tab and then click Internet
Explorer 3.0.
5.Click Add/Remove.
6.Click Yes.
If uninstall does not work or you encounter other difficulties,
please see our additional information. If your
machine came with a of copy Internet Explorer 3.0 already
installed, you may not find Internet Explorer in the
Add/Remove Programs panel. In this case please see our additional information.
