So what is this thing about this program? Well one of the things that makes this program this good is that you can use many kinds of layers. And this makes everything much easier. When you uses layers you will discover that you can edit diffrent parts of your images in diffrent ways. For example if you have made a shadow and just want to move the shadow then you can do this with moving the layer where the shadow is. So you never have to do your images in one big layer, instead you do many small layers that will fullfill the hole image. Other nice stuff that you can do with using layers is that you can use diffrent filters on just one layer that you want. For example if you just want to have shadow on one of the layers that you have made and not on your whole image.Adobe also have their own filename that is .psd which can save the image in all the layers that you have done. And when you are finished with your image and decide that you are satisfied and you want to save it as a .jpg or .gif you will see that you cant save in that fileattribut. Many peoples gets mad here and thinks that Adobe sux when you cant even save in .jpg. Even I was mad once a time ;). But there are no problem in saving as .jpg. You just cant save your creation as a .jpg when you have many kinds of layers because .jpg doesnīt suport this, so what you have to do is that you have to make your whole image as one and not as many layers. So what you do then is that you go to layer in the topic and go down to flatten image. When you have flatten you image you can save as a .jpg.

Of course there are many many more great things with Adobe photoshop and I canīt name them all but I will tell you the best things. And the other great things with Adobe Photoshop is all the filters that are built in the program. This filters gives you a oppurtunity to give your image some cool rendering and some fat graphics. But what I have discovered as a designer in the past 2 years is that many peoples uses this filters far too much, and this can destroy many nice images. So if you are going to use filters then please be gentle and do not use them more than neccesary ! But the filters also do need some tricks to make them look nice and good, and this tricks is something you have to try by yourself.

Adobe Photoshop also handles many kinds of plugins that you can buy too the program. There are many diffrent plugins you can use and with diffrent uses. I got a cd this week with 1500 plugins so of course there will be more than enough if you really needs them. But many of this plugins are just crap.

So what can I say more than you have to buy this program if you are going into the webdesign buissness. It will also take time to learn you all kinds of stuff if your are going to be able to controll the program, and donīt let the program controll you ! I have been using the program for about 2 years now and I would say that I have much more too learn in the program so be prepared for learning for a long time ! But although you will see how fun it is too play around with Photoshop and in this way you will also learn many new things. But also look around on the web and check some help&hint sites. But the best of all is if you learn by yourself!
