THEY
Since time out of mind, They have roamed the Earth, manipulating, controlling and subverting. They know. They know everything. They have infiltrated into the very core of our society, always decieving us into thinking we are the lords of the Earth. They have assumed a multitude of forms, They have came to us with the flutter of angelīs wings, and the roar of damned souls. They have sucked our blood and stalked us in the dark places of the world, they have spoken to us out of burning bushes and fiery wheels in the sky. They were old and wise before humanity walked erect. They are our hidden masters, our dark overlords. 
In ages past they filtered down from the stars and walked upon the primeval hills of the young Earth, and they beheld the primitive lifeforms that crawled thereupon, and they set themselves up as masters and lords of the world. It is whispered that they came not from space as we know it but from somewhere else, perhaps from a frame of reference beyond the one inhabitated by the mass of humanity. Many things have been said about them, volumes have been written about them, but yet almost no one knows about them, or about their true motives.
It has been said about them that; "The Old Ones was, the Old Ones is and the Old Ones shall ever be. After summer is winter, and after winter, summer. They ruled once where Man rules now; where Man rules now, they shall rule again." They have been known by a multitude of names; the Lligor, the Mahatmas, the Great Ones, the Shining Ones, The Hidden Masters, the Great Old Ones. Men have named them Gods and Demons, and watched their passing in awe and fear. Oceans of blood and innumberable tears have flowed in their name, for their sake.
It is written; "As a foulness shall ye know them."
But evil has learnt and adapted, assumed shapes more fluffy than in days of yore. Now they walk amongst us, secure in their invincible superiority and protected by their human servants.
Yes, there has been those that would serve evil incarnate in hope of rewards beyond death.
