It is springtime in lovely Linköping, local beat group the Downbeats are rehearsing at the Skylten. Mean time there is a concert going on in the same building. And so their biggest fan, the young punk rocker Dawa, stumbles in to the room. He's piss drunk and rambles on about how great they are and how much he would like to sing with them. They accept and so The Intimidaters are born.

The band has rehearsed two times and played one gig so far. It was on a hardcore concert at a youth centre and everybody was afraid of them. Dawa ran out into the audience and hit people. It was a tremendous success and they have not been allowed to play there since then.

The Intimidaters play hardcore punk the way it should be: fast and furious. Main influences are: Void, the M.M.F.C, Suicidal Tendencies, 7 Seconds, Antidote, Raw Power, the Partisans, Social Unrest, Angry Samoans, Urban Waste and White Cross.
