3. Chemical Sealers 

Radcon #7 outperforms all existing chemical sealers. Chemical sealers are never specified on 

large high thermal stress applications where the integrity of a long term waterproofing seal 

must be guaranteed. 

4. Concrete Additives 

Concrete additives are often used to make concrete less permeable. The concrete will

nevertheless still expand and contract due to thermal stress causing hair-line cracking and

ultimately water penetration right through the slab. A superior approach to protection is to

delete the waterproofing concrete additive and apply Radcon #7 after the primary hydration 

process is complete, 28 days after the pour.
