My computer and I........

Sometimes we hate each other so much there is both thunder and lightning in the room!

But usually we get along just fine and i can get it to do mostly what i tell it to do, Because naturally when it doesīnt do so itīs not my fault. Itīs that damned machine...........Recognizing that????

So who is my computer?

He or she was born sometime around october 1996 in the great factory of the Fujitsu company and as every boy or girl he/she gets hotter by the day. At birth he/she  was a pentium 150 mhz with 8 megs of ram and a Cirrus graphic board with 1 mb memory. It also had a hard drive with a  maximum of 1GB space to fill. He/she was equipped with a 14" svga monitor and a external 33,600 kbps modem and it was pure love at first sight!! 

What happened then?

Being like all boys with toys the glance of excellence soon faded away and i started the common nightmare of upgrading and changing and testing so today it looks like this instead! Still a Fujitsu of the excellent T-Bird serie but.....

• Intel Pentium 166 MHZ   "strapped"

• 64 MB Ram

• Ati graphic-board with 2 MB memory

• Adaptec AHA-2940 UW-SCSI card

• Two IBM SCSI-harddrives 1,7 + 2,2 GB

• One 1,0 GB Ide drive

• One 635 mb Ide drive

• 17" Sony CPD-200sx monitor

• Internal Us-Robotics Sportster Win-modem upgraded to X2 speed

• Hewlett-Packard Deskjet 820 cxi colour printer

All this in less than a year so beware all of you folks that think "Oh no, i will not build anything more on my computer" to all of you i can only say *TSSSS* dream on!!!! I once read somewhere that there only exists to kind of harddrives one that is new and one that is FULL!!!
