Scandvac and the founder, Mr. P. Genberg has been involved in distribution and in full time manufacturing with different companies since 1979. He has started, maintained and developed manufacturing, distribution, direct sales and marketing for Vacutec (Sweden), Plasma Therm (Sweden), Atomtech (UK) and ICN Telemanagement (Korea). He has designed or managed the production of approximately 500 Plasma Processing systems and several thousand instruments.

Scandvac Inc., Boston, MA (HQ), was incorporated in 1987, initially to assist European companies to enter and invest in the US Vacuum & Semiconductor Equipment manufacturing, sales, distribution and service.

Scandvac introduced it's first European operation in 1993 to 1997 in Surrey, UK to launch a Real Estate & Property Management business for Overseas Investors and to assist foreign Telecom businesses, MTC Telemagement and Swift Call in international reorigination resell in the UK.

In 1996, the company set up the ICN Telemanagement operation in South Korea , a company specialized in international reorigination, resell and billing of phone, fax and data services in cooperation with the US, Justice Technology Corporation. The telecom traffic reached over 100.000 minutes per months within its first year.

In October 1997, the company relocated its European operation to Stockholm, Sweden to capitalize on the deregulation of the telecom market and the growth in the IT industry, science and technology over the past years.
