Hi and welcome to my homepage!

This is a site about me, Aster Demeke Hansson and my country Ethiopia. . This is my first homepage and hopefully it’s not going to be the last one. Anyway, I tried my best!!! Thank you Miriam, my sweet daughter, for helping me. You are really great! I hope all of you will enjoy your visit and don’t forget to mail me and share your opinions about my website !! I’m born in Ethiopia (in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia) in 1964. I left Ethiopia ten years ago because of political and social problems in the country. Since 1989 I’ve been living in Sweden (in a town called Gävle). Gävle is my new Addis Ababa and I enjoy living there. Thank you Ethiopia for giving birth to me and bringing me up. Thank you Sweden for giving me a chance to live my life in peace and harmony. I miss you, Ethiopia. You are always on my mind. Your beauty, your culture and your scent follows me wherever I go.

I’ve got a very nice daughter. Her name is Miriam and she makes my life worth living. The happiest day in my life was when I gave birth to my one and only daughter. The saddest and most cruel day in my life was when I lost you, Mother.
