HOW FRANK GOT SAVED...

There were several reasons why I as a sixteen-year-old became a christian. My girlfriend died in a caraccident after being involved with a gang that stole cars and used drugs. A few months later my best friend killed his cousin and got to spend a very long time in jail. These things affected me very much and I was deeply depressed and at a party I drank a lot of alcohol and took pills. I passed out, started dreaming and got all sorts of strange hallucinations. I dreamt that I went out of my room and into the kitchen, where my mother stood. I looked out the window and saw that the sky was in shades of blue and purple in a big lank arch. In the middle of the arch there was a powerful light. Suddenly I saw my mother being drawn up towards the sky and I screamed that I also wanted to follow her and I felt as if I also began to be drawn up towards the sky and the light. I woke up and I was totally numb in my body and the tears ran down my cheeks and I whispered: Jesus, Jesus. It had only passed a few hours since I had passed out, but I was totally sober. This was the turning-point in my life. Maybe my life hasn't been a dance among roses, but I have a security and peace and I have someone to lay my worries on and someone to renew strength from and his name is Jesus.
