Rome Italy 1998

I was staying in Rome during two weeks in June and saw the Pope in the vatican City.

Rome must be a typical European city and it is very tourist popular. There is numeber of must see things. They way to get around is for sure by foot or public transpotation. The Bus system I have not figured out how it works. There is a machine in the back of the bus where you can stamp your ticket. But I can garantuee you can ride the bus without the ticket!

Nåja, Sanna du har allt varit i Italien också!

What you will first will see in Rome is the great number of Piazzas and Coffe shops. I must have drinking a Cappucino every 20 min during my sightseeing. And the coolest thing you could do in Rome is to rent a Scooter. The Italian guys is driving like crazy so you will have to be careful but riding a Scooter will sure take ya around. Me and my friend took a ride from the Vatican State to the Collosseum in 10 min. And on the way there we did some sight seeing!

There is a lot of good information of Rome on the net, in the guide books and also you get a "guide pamphlet" in the tourist stands inside the city.
