Tokyo Japan 1997
Ok,
This is quite an experience to visit Japan. Especially if you are a European
Guy and a couple of Heads taller than everybody else. I was staying here
for two months during September to the end of October. I was working on
the days but I got some time over during the week ends to do some sight
seeing. I joined a couple of friends from work to hang around to the Tokyo
scene. There is a lot of things to say about Tokyo and I don't know where
to start.

The
cousine of Japan is exciting. But in the beginning it was very easy to go to
McDonalds. But after a two weeks I learned my mistake. The rest of the time
I had either Japanese, Chinese, Thai, or some other asian cousine. Well, I actually
had some real Irish burger a couple of times in a genuine Irish Pubs. I would
say that most of the non-Japanese pubs there was a lot of Irish pubs..
This is some of the things listed
below that you should do while you are here over in Tokyo. I was must say that
I is impressed a lot of all the cool neon lights (commersion ads) and the big
screens placed in the shopping deparpments and on the sides on the building
the shopping area. That is Cool!
And nothing can beat the crowd in the week ends when all the local Japanese
people decides to go shopping at the same place!
After you have been to most famous
cities around like Ginza, Shibuya, Akihabara, you shold go for 2 days travel
to Kyoto. This one of the most famous place where you can find the livestyle
of the Japanese culture back in time. There will be alot of Shrines, Temples,
and other .. from the Emperior Era. This is where the Geijsha was borned, raised,
and traineed. I did not have the luck to go there but instead I went to Nikko
which might be the second best sightseeing out of Tokyo. You should also try
the bullet train. It is famous for travelling at high speed.
