Powermid Plus sends the IR codes by Radio and provides
a much needed universal remote control
Universal IR/RF remote controllers contain a library of codes
to match most of the TV, Video,cable and SAT components currently
available on the market today.
The 8 in 1 remote includes TV, VCR, cable, CD, SAT and 2 auxiliary
functions plus the X-10 Home Automation and key.
With the RF circuitry, the remote is used together with the
Infrared extender to allow audio/visual components such as a
SAT receiver to be controlled from any room in the home.

The above example shows the perfect use for the Powermid
Plus.
The bedroom tv is cabled to the video unit downstairs.
By placing the Infrared Extender in front of the entertainment
centre, the video can be controlled from the bedroom simply
by selecting the VCR key on the remote and pressing the play
key.
The same TV remote onced programmed can be used to control
the entertainment centre from any room in the house.
