Buying your house, the socialists say
Is a conservative sin, and the worst!
But can you decline an offer so good
Just to satisfy the voters' thirst?

The ministers all buy their houses and lawns
And they pay in the media hell.
The local practicioners of the socialist way
Are the only ones doing real well.

If it's right or it's wrong to be mad with them all
Is not for me to decide or say.
It's not all right to hang their privacy out
But they're right to defend their ways.

Can they decide what to do, pray tell
Or will the confusion still be?
The locals can trust in their own guys, but not
In the national ones, we see.

Whatever the outcome, we can still be sure
The media follows the trail.
