Marmorit   is a material well suited for moulding both small and large objects. It contains crushed marble, iron or even glass and an adhesive that makes it hard. The marble effects are made with very little paint in the moulding mass. Everything is made entirely by hand and that makes every moulded object unique.

The material is very nice to paint on. I use water based colour partly in very thin layers which leaves some of the marble structure visible. This technique gives the painting an extra dimension. The paint is very difficult to remove, in fact you would have to use a knife and scrape it of. This makes paintings on Marmorit long lasting. You can use water to clean them and the material does not freeze so you can use them outdoors.
