Welcome to my home page! My name is Anders Åslund, alias Sputnikk.
I'm a twenty year old student, I study at Uppsala University in Uppsala(Sweden),
my main course Mat-Nat is mostly math and programming.
On my spare time I train Kyokushin Karate.
I can speak swedish, english and german.
I'm currently living on my own in a flat at Ferlinsgatan 105 here in Uppsala.
On this home page you can find to music (lots of rock, metal and
swedish punk rock), links (emulators, cracks, shareware), software,
programming tools, I program C++ (Borland C++ 4.5 & GNU Unix) and
a few years back I used Turbo Pascal .
I am a
member of the swedish youth-organization Ung Vänster (Young Left),
our organization is fighting for a society where labour is shared
equally, and the benefits of labour are distributed according to
need and all people are equal, the production are to be own by the
society. Join us as we grow stronger.
I'm also very interested in new stuff on the computer market, I
really look forward to get a second generation graphics card like
TNT, Pvr-sg or Permedia 3. I have now a Pentium Celeron 300A running
at 4,5X100, 64mb Sdram(Samsung -GH), Asus V3400 Riva TnT 16mb TV
out/in, 6.5 gb IBM Deskstar hd and and 8,4 gb Fujutsi, a Targa TM4895-2
Monitor(19 inch), a Sb AWE 64 Value and a 56k V90 Rockwell modem,
and an ide Pioneer 10X, and a Leadtek tv-capture card. This year
I will problably buy a new processor (AMD K7) and some more memory
and a new harddrive, etc.
My current
operating system is Windows 98 without Internet Explorer, it works
as long as I'm not using 3d acceleration. The first win95 version
was a nightmare to me, it had hundreds of bugs. Soon I will get
Linux with the 2.2 - kernel & KDE 1.1 and use it instead of
Windows98, Unix is a hole lot of power compared to Bill's Windooze,
and most important, it's free. I will problably go get BeOS R4.5 while
I'm ahead.
