First of all I've got to say I'm not that very fond of Kevin Spacey (???). But I also have to say that he did a good part in this movie as the lovelonging middleage man, who's after his daughter's girlfriend. American Beauty is a beautiful movie. Actually it sounds pretty lame, and I know it, but it's true. I just loved one part in the movie when HIS DAUGHTER and her boyfriend record a plasticbag blowing in the wind on video. When you see the clip you get that feeling that life is beautiful and you have to seeze the moment to live the fullest. |
