Bachelor of Arts in Nordic and Medieval Archaeology at the
University of Lund in Sweden 1987 and soon enough fifty years old.
I live in a small village some 30 miles outside Malmö in the southernmost
part of Sweden, making my living as a social worker and work coach at a center for welfare takers in Landskrona
My main interest beside my work
is Oscar, my dog that is, a five
year old Jack Russell Terrier - and
of course The Rolling Stones. I also try to keep me updated about
politics, and read about history as often as I have some free time at my
hands... And then -

I also do some photography on my spare time. You'll find some of my pictures here. The pictures will change now and then, but not regularly in any way. Mostly it is nature and ancient monuments (prehistoric and historic sites, churches, castles and the like) that interest me, and that I find challenging to take a photo of. My camera equipment is purely Nikon, makers of some of the best cameras in the world. I have mostly used traditional film (b/w - Kodak TriX - and positive color - various makes) with a Nikon F601 and Nikon N60, but bought a Nikon digital camera in November 2003, and find that I use it a lot more than my traditional cameras (that mostly collect dust these days). The pictures you'll find on these pages are taken with a prosumer level digital camera (a 5.1 megapixel Nikon Coolpix 5400 with full feature set and a nice lens for my needs - I don't need a long tele, I need a short wide angel). The resulting pictures are imported to an Apple PowerMacintosh G4 running Mac OS X 10.3.x and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. If you find something you like, and want to use in some way, send a mail to me, ask nicely, and I'll consider sending it to you in a higher resolution - the pictures in the site are in low resolution and highly compressed. All pictures are under my copyright except where something else is noted.
