I am a 17-year-old girl, named Sara Linnéa Josefine Byrlind, living in Sweden. I live by myself in the south east part of Stockholm where I also study. I'm a candidate for the International Baccalaureate diploma, but I'm still a junior. But I'm not very motivated to study for the moment and therefore I'm going to the USA in August this year. Officially to study byt the main reason for me going there is just to enjoy myself and to get my study motivation back. I can kiss the diploma goodbye if I'm not motivated, because you have to devote your entire life to it during two years, well basically. Anyways, I'm going to the States to kick it. I will be living in Missouri, not far from Kansas City. I don't know a thing about the place so if you want to reveal to me what it's like, be my guest. Not bad things though, I'm so good at coming up with those myself. Like it's all farmers and cattles there, well if there are, don't tell me.
My interests are aerobics (I am a licensed aerobic instructor), bodybuilding (but not as those freaky Russian girls), tracks, music (can't live without it, but I'm a bit mainstream, but I especially like rap, rnb and soul), traveling (you can read about my trips), spending money, preferably on clothes, make up and other superficial stuff. I also love dancing, especially hip hop and other street dances. I also like to sing, mostly in the shower and when I'm alone though. Another great interest of mine is boys, but I'm extremely picky (sometimes TOO picky). And since I was raised in a cold and snowy climate I also enjoy winter sports such as snow boarding and carving.
My 1999 will be a year to remember I think. So far, it has been pretty boring, with loads of homework, shit that has happened to me and my friends and not enough time to do what I really want to do. But as the summer comes, it will be better. The 17th of June, my family and I will go to Bali. We are to stay there for three weeks and it will be a blast, I'm sure. When I come back in July, Sweden will be at its very best with a warm climate. Lots of sunny days with friends on the beach are to come. And then, in August, I will say goodbye to Sweden and head for the States. Yeah, this will definitely be a good year, even better than 1997, which was the best year in my life so far.
