| IC | (In Character) Any situation where you're playing the role of your character, reacting and talking like he/she would do. | |
| OOC | (Out Of Character) When you're _not_ acting in character, being the real-life you. For example discussing the newest cool game on a public OOC channel. | |
| TP | (TinyPlot) A plot, that is some kind of prefabricated scenario taking place on the MUSH. This usually involves several player characters, and has no ending. Vital parts of the plot are judged by Judges or Wizards on the MUSH. | |
| Judge | A person appointed by the MUSH admin to handle the rules and results during combat or other IC activities. Some MUSHes have specialized Judges for special areas of roleplaying, i.e. a Combat Judge, an RP judge, and what have you. | |
| Wizard | A person with powers beyond those of normal MUSH "mortals". They usually do building, coding, and general maintenance. They might also handle the judging of roleplaying events. | |
| Admin | The MUSH administrative people, consisting of Wizards, God and other appointed people. These are the people running the MUSH, making sure it works and keeping the players in line if necessary. | |
