So what's this all about? Well, to be perfectly honest I'm not exactly sure where it might go. I had this idea a while ago, and I'm currently writing a book that describes a space station in orbit around the Earth, guarding it against intrusion, kind of like a national park. This space station is manned mainly by humans, abducted from the planet, or "bred" in captivity on some distant planet or other. I thought this might form a good background setting for a series of short stories about the inhabitants of this station, and couldn't come up with a better name for it than "Station Life", so I'll stick with that for now and we'll see where the stories go. I'll also try to put up some character descriptions and maps of the station, and perhaps even artwork that people send me (if anyone ever finds this page that is), but this project is entirely on an "as I feel like it" basis, so updates will probably be irregular.

• Chapter One, "Bomb run"
  This is a fairly techy one, not much content, but fun if you're an aviation buff like me.
• Chapter Two, "Suntraveller"
  Sad. I thought of this as I was walking home from work, then got a call from an old friend in the middle of it, but managed to keep the sadness anyway, I think.
• Chapter Three, "Squids"
  A short excerpt from Encyclopedia Galactica, human edition, describing the "Squids". This has been floating around in my mind for months, no pun intented.
