In short, Rickenbacker (--ri--) is a flier in Warbirds, by IMagic Online (formerly ICIgames). He has a little hangar right next to Toad's at the Wingless Café (Stories about the Wingless can be found on the IMOL BBS, mostly written by Toad, Kaiz and me), and a young female mechanic named Julie. He mainly flies Ponies (P-51) and IronDawgs (P-39). He is actually the real Edward V. Rickenbacker, and was kidnapped by a U.F.O. towards the end of WW1, all part of the ICI conspiracy (c). He was then taken to the Wingless Island and a clone that had been hypnotized to carry out the tasks given it by ICI placed in his place in the real world.

Rickenbacker now (since the spring of 1996) flies with the Royal Knights of Purplandia, as a CW2 (reserves) in the Lancers (the attack section), as well as with the Independent Swedish Air Force on occasion.

On AirWarrior, Rickenbacker was a Bland flier that joined the DIKtators Squadron and changed his name to Karl XII (king of Sweden in the early 1700's). He led the bomb scoring together with his CO Genghis Khan for two months in the spring of 1995.
