My name is Monica Rickardson.
I live in a small village outside
the town of Tidaholm in Sweden.
I have always been interested in
making things with my hands.
I have weaved many products
and I have studied textile
handicraft for two years.
In the last few years I have been
fascinated by straw as weft in my
weaving.
The lustre and the great variety of
color and texture makes the straw
and thereby even the woven work
more lively!
At my studio I also make
hand made papers
I have been teaching weaving and
papermaking for many years. |
