The story of Jetfuel Casanovas is a long and winding one. It started in 1995 when two friends, Micke Westergren and Petri Routsalainen got the idea that they should start a band. Micke and Petri were both influenced by older rock and roll like The Ramones, The Stooges and a lot of metal. Their chance to start a band came as a gift from heaven in early June when a local bartender was announcing that he was going to have a rock festival in his pub at the beginning of August. The two friends did make haste and managed to put a band together. The band called themselves "Tattar bandet".

They rehearsed like hell and it sounded like shit so the whole thing went to an early grave. In early fall 1996 a guy called Ola started to work at the steel-factory that Micke worked at. Micke did find out that Ola was interested in the same type of music as Micke and Petri, and Ola was in on the same ideas as Micke and Petri. The boys called Daniel and he was still interested, Mickes younger brother Peter was also interested and the old band got themselves a new setting.
