Ode to Zelda/First quest Walkthrough release 1 By Fredrik Aldhagen _________________________________________________________________ Walkthrough When you begin the game you are outside a cave walk south to the hole in the ground to get into the cave where you can get a sword, then walk out of the cave and either go west and north or north and west(north and west is easiest). Now you are in a town, enter the house which has a open door, you should get the boomerang and a heart in there, in the chest there are rupys. After getting the stuff you can go outside and walk east and north to get to a screen with a heart and a coin. (which has Mario on it in the Zelda version :) The coins open up a secret room that will be explained later in this walkthrough. Get the heart and if you want to the coin. Then go west and north to get to another house, beat the bear and get the heart, then go into the house, inside the house go south one screen. Now use the boomerang to get the bomb, now you can place bombs on the ground to blow up enemies and treestumps but it costs one rupy. Then get the heart and the rupys and walk out of the house, go back to the town and go south, use a bomb on the tombstone and walk to the hole that appears and you get into a cave under the tombstone where you can get another heart, the candle and a new sword(the sword appears when you use the candle to light the grey box/glass things). Then you should walk north, east, north and north again to find a house with four of those box/glass things which you should light with the candle. Go inside the house and get the heart and kill the bats, now a big hole will appear, walk to it and you will get to another room with the bow, kill the enemies and shoot with the bow on the big stone statue. Now you will be teleported to the screen below the house. Go east and shoot the big stone statue that looks exactly like the big stone statue in the house, walk down the hole. Inside the cave you are in are the hammer that can destroy the stones. There´s also a heart and a lot of rupys. After you have gotten the stuff in there go out of the cave and walk west, south, east, south and east. Crush the stones with the hammer and walk down the hole. Kill the skeletons to get a heart, crush the stones and bomb the treestumps to get a magic wand, then a passage opens to a room to the west, kill the mummy in that room, get the rupys and get the heart and the potion(which you don´t have to get, try to skip it and continue without it). Get out of the cave and walk west, north, west, north, east and east. Use the wand to destroy the barrier, get into the house and pick up the heart and the ocarina (and if you skipped the potion look in your inventory, you will have it!). Use the ocarina twice(if you´re lazy) and walk one screen north, use the ocarina again and walk to the hole that appears where the lake was, kill the enemies, get the heart and walk east, get the key, walk out or use the ocarina. Walk north, east and north again(if you used the ocarina you must walk twice north first). Bomb the left rock and take the heart, walk east on the top of the mountain and use the ocarina on the button to make the master sword appear. If you are playing the Zelda version go left and use the ocarina(it doesn´t work in the master sword screen), get into the cave where you got the first sword and get the final heart(it was removed in first quest), a fairy will appear that heals you if you´re hurt(which you´re not because you´re fully healed when you get a heart). Walk back to Death mountain(North, north, east and north) and use the key to open the door and enter, fight Ganon(Banon) by lighting the grey box/glass things, shoot him with the bow and hit him with the sword. When he is defeated walk east and you will see the princess and the triforce(or something else in First quest), if you´re playing the Zelda version you can kill the princess! Walk to the princess or the triforce/whatever. THE END ______________________________________________________________________ The secret room To get into the secret room you must have 8 coins. The entrance is one screen south of the house where you get the ocarina. Inside is a big meditating mario floating in the air! You can ask one question, the last two is different in the First quest(and mario´s face have been removed). You can walk out of the hidden room and re-enter to ask a different question. ______________________________________________________________________ The versions There are THREE versions of the First Quest/Ode to Zelda: 1. Ode to Zelda Klik n Play version The original one. 2. Ode to Zelda Click n Create version Almost identical to the original one except a effect when you die and different colors. Can be downloaded from: www.computermike.com/bieberspoofs 3. The First Quest A remake of the above with (mostly)original graphics. Also the final heart is missing and the gameplay is slightly different because of graphics changes. Can be downloaded from: www.saviorknight.com 4. First quest Floppygames version Was planned to be released(and sold) as a one disk game. I have no idea if it was ever made. ______________________________________________________________________ History 1998 Ode to Zelda was released. 1999 Ode to Zelda Second quest was released 1900(or was it 2000?)
