CGI Programming Here is a collection of links to sites with information on CGI programming. CGI stands for Common Gateway Interface. Many people (as I did) think that CGI is a programming language but it is not. CGI programs, or scripts can be written in virtually any language (Perl is very popular, but I use C myself). CGI is simply a specification of how your program will receive parameters from the web server and how to return information. If you are thinking about buying CGI programming books, take a look at these sites first and you may be able to save yourself some money. Some of these sites also include general information that may be of use to webmasters, such as security. I may also be putting up some of my own CGI code on my Download page soon.
