Ställberg
is small village in the middle of Bergslagen with beautiful
country walks with woodland path, fishing and viewing points
with magnificent views. There you can rent an appartment for
staying overnight. In the evening you can take your fishing
rod with you and go down to the stream, where you can get
salmon trout's. The record as far as we know is 4,3 kg.
There
are plenty of lakes and watercourse with very good fishing in
1/2 to 1 hours driving! Make an outing to Nittälvsdalen, also
there with salmon trout's fishing. If you sneak you have a
good chance to see beaver. Then visit the nature reserve at
Brattforsen. In the spring the waterfall is a mighty sight.
Finish the day with a walking up to the outlook tower at
Älvhöjden, you just must go there.
A
trip to Norra Hörken, a lake with miles of sandy beaches for
bathing. There is a beautiful beach at Grönudden, or search
for a bay where you can have god chance to find your own sandy
beach.
One
day you may choose to just walk around in Ställberg with its
neighborhood. Try out our church path, where people from the
beginning of the 1700-century drifted because in order of a
decree they have to visit the church in Kopparberg a number of
times every year. Along this path you can meet many exclusive
animals, for instance elk, roe, bear, lynx, and perhaps wolves.
Here
in Bergslagen exist many mines where you can search and find
assorted minerals. At Svartvikmines in Ställdalen you find
for instance grenades.
After
the trips, you can play tennis on the court in Ställberg or
why not play a little bit football.

to be careful with fire and show all people and animals
consideration, and I hope that we see each other at some of
the destinations.
