My name is Pontus Sjöström and I was born 1975. Ever since 1985/86 I've owned a computer, started out with the good 'ol c64, moved to Amiga 500, then Amiga 1200 and now I've switched to PC(1997). All my life I've been interested in computers and electronic things :). I worked a couple of years as an accountant, but found that boring. I began to study XXXX 1997, at a school in Malmö, Sweden called TBV. The course I'm doing is called PC-Samordnare (=PC-Coordinator) and I will be finished x-mas 1998. In my spare time, when I don't spend time with my friends, I love to sit by my computer and do 'things'.

How this page was made

I started making my first home page on my old Amiga 1200 maybe a year or so ago (I miss it *sob*) but it was nothing special, I used a real state-of-the-art text editor called 'Cygnus Ed' which is probably the best text editor I've seen on any platform (PC port pretty please :))

A couple of months ago, I decided to make a completely new one and I wanted to try out one of the many WYSIWYG editors that existed on the PC. At first I found it to work nicely, but later on I noticed the lack of fine-tuning you can do with those editors so I switched, first to notepad, then to Super Notetab, and finally to Notetab Pro (which I'm using now, I'm satisfied with it, but it's nothing compared to CygnusEd on the good 'ol Amiga).

The pictures on the page (I've done all of them myself (except the obvious ad buttons)) in Photoshop 4 and 5.

I've done my best to make this page look the same in both Netscape 4.x and Internet Explorer 4.x.
