Inspired from the Dark Horse SciFi novel Hunter's Planet by David Bischoff.
An artist by the name John Bolton made the cover art, and I became so mesmerized by the story that I just HAD to paint something derived from it, and I just loved the cover! :)
I'm very satisfied with the result although it took almost a year to finish the painting. I lost my passionate inspiration after the girl had made it onto paper, and it laid there for quite a while before I decided to wrap things up by painting a background as well.
