as a sign of deity and evil, have three been looked upon
as a magical number in many cultures and during
milleniums. The classical Greek had about 120 mythical triads or groups of three. Some was good others not. The good includes the three graces, Apollo's three maids, seen to the left. But there were others as the three snake headed furies or the three goddesses of destiny. The Nordic mythology had also three goddesses of destiny and cosmos was divided into three parts. The holy family of Egypt is divided into three parts, Osiris, Isis and Horus. The Hindu's trinity was Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. According to the numerolgy the three means, spiritual harmony and sexual energy. |
