French article - 3T’s Question Box
The Question Box is a box which contains some questions…. They are unusual, private, silly and, why not, philosophical! This month, we dared TJ, Taj and Taryll, that is 3T. The three Jackson brothers answered the most private and the silliest questions frankly and with tenderness. Read fast the following article, you’ll love them even more!

TJ: “Our fans give us lots of love….”

Which animal do you identify with?
- A chimpanzee! That’s an animal which can get used to very different environments, like me. It is strong, agile and fast, and I prove these qualities when I practise sports.
What would you save if your house burned?
- My photo albums. I have a piano and a guitar, but I can replace those. On the contrary my childhood pictures, all the memories of my family and my mother I can’t. My heart would be broken if I lost those. My uncle Michael has a lot of childhood pictures on the walls in his house, and I love that.
Would you date a fan?
- Our fans give us lots of love, and love is the key to every relationship. The most difficult thing would be to get to know that fan, because we don’t stay more than three days in the same place. But yes, why not?
Do you dream in colours or in black and white?
- In colours, and that’s great! I often dream that I live in a big store with my family and my friends, and it’s really cool! I think it’s because of uncle Michael. You know, one must close the big department stores to let him shop….. I’d love to do the same!
Define “happiness” in three words!
- Love, success….. (he thinks for a long time) And safety.

Taryll says: I would say freedom instead of safety, because if you have love and success, and therefore money, you are safe. Then you only need freedom!

TJ says: Can I say freedom instead of safety? Thanks!

Do you believe in life after death?
- Yes, absolutely! I think that the soul survives and goes to a better world. There are many things I don’t understand in life. For example, why must some children suffer and die? Certainly there is a better world where those children go….
What’s you most embarrassing memory?
- When we performed on a European TV show for the first time, the back-vocals tape stopped during the song. It was in UK. We didn’t know what to do… It was a bad start, but it wasn’t our fault really.

Taryll: “ I wouldn’t strip for anything in the world!”

Who is the most important person in your life?
- It would be unfair to say that there’s only one, because many are important for different reasons: my father, my mother, my brothers, my uncle Michael and all my friends. I couldn’t live with only one person.
What’s the last letter you read?
- A letter a French fan gave me in person. We have no time to read all the mail we get, but when someone gives us a letter personally, we always read it. It’s a pity we can’t answer to everyone…
Would you strip for a million dollars?
- No, I’d never do that, may it be for a million…. Or a billion!
What’s your worst school memory?
- I lost the last baseball game of my school career! It was the final match of the inter-schools championship, and we lost because of our coach, he was terrible! Really, ask TJ, he was in the team too.

TJ says: That’s true. That guy was terrible.

Who is the funniest person in the world?
- Eddie Murphy.
If you got a tattoo… what drawing would you get as a tattoo?
- I am against tattooing, but if I had to do it, I’d choose a 3T logo. I’d want it on my arm.
Have you been in love?
- Yes. All our songs talk about love because they were inspired by our personal experiences. Life, love, death….. Our songs come from our hearts.

Taj: “I’m scared to be alone!”

Describe yourself in three words.
- Friendly, romantic and persevering.
How do you spend you free afternoons?
- When we are in LA, I spend it with my friends. If I am in Europe, I read, I sleep, I play videogames…. I don’t like going out too much.
How did you find out about the things of life?
- My dad explain me that when I was little. He wanted me to learn them from his mouth not to let me listen to the stupid things that my schoolmates could have said. The stories about the birds and the bees…. Or maybe worse than that! (laughs).
What’s the worst thing you read about yourself in the paper?
- I don’t know… Some American newspapers write we don’t have talent and we use our family name to make money. But I’m not upset at that. We’ll prove them wrong!
What’s your biggest fear?
- To be alone. I need to be with my friends, and I want to find a girlfriend soon because I don’t want to be a bachelor. I love to share what I have with another person.
What do you do when you’re heartbroken?
- Friendship. When your heart is broken or you have a problem of that kind, your friends will be the only people to help you.
Have you ever made jokes on the phone?
- Yeeeeessssssss, I do that all the time! I love it! It’s a good way to enjoy yourself! (laughs).
What’s the latest crazy thing you did?
- I don’t really do crazy things with my money. I think the only valuable thing I bought is my computer, but that was a useful investment because I use it to make music.
