Do you believe in sex before marriage?

Yeah. I think it's fine. Marriage is such a big step in someone's life and sex is such a big part of being a married couple that you have to make sure you're going to enjoy it. If you get married and you don't appreciate the sex at all then that's pretty unfortunate.

Would you ever date a fan?

Definitely. I was talking to my brothers about this. If a fan likes only 3T and is so in love with you that she'll do anything for you - then that must be a positive thing. She would be on my side all the way and that's so important to me. It's the only way my girlfriend or wife could be.

In years to come what advice would you give your son or daughter?

Never trust anyone. There's a price for any information you give whether it be money, privacy or you're losing friendships.

Who do you confide in?

I don't usually talk to anyone unless it's something major and then I'll call my uncle Michael. Mostly I hold it all in inside myself and deal with it quietly.

Where would you like to be kissed?

Everywhere! But if I had to say one spot (yeah!) I'd say my lips (oh...) I'm a pretty good kisser too - at least no girl's ever told me I wasn't.

You often seem quite calm - is there a bad temper lurking deep down?

I don't think so. Taryll's more the type to get angry but it takes a lot for me to get worked up. It depends what's winding me up. If someone's picking on my brothers then I might end up fighting, but only if they don't let up. I would know when to stop though, and I'd never go as far as killing.

When did you last go to the supermarket?

I went when I was at home about a month ago. There's on down the street and I'll often pop out to get some tangerines. (Eh?) I love them and if I'm craving them, I have to get to the shops. Some people recognize me and I might have to sign a couple of autographs, but it's worth it for a tangerine.

Are you happy with the way you look?

Yeah, but there's always something I'd like to change and at the moment it's my hair - it has a life of it's own. Nothing really upsets me unless I'm having a really bad day. That's when I look in the mirror and go, 'Wah! What went wrong!'

Which comes first, family or friends?

Family definitely. Friends are important but I never know who my true friends are but I know my family will never hurt me, or at least much less than my friends will.

Can you cope with girls trying it on?

Hey, that's fine by me as long as they're not too forward. If the girl's aggressive and right in my face and I start feeling uncomfortable. Trouble is I haven't really been home much to meet girls.

Do you believe in marriage?

Marriage is so different nowadays, it doesn't mean as much as it used to. A lot of people get married cause they want to trap somebody or to make an investment. I know a few couples who cheat on each other and that's not right.

What are you scared of?

I'm scared of losing my teeth from eating too much candy or losing my hearing. More so then my eyesight. I'm afraid to go to the dentist you see and I'm due to pay a visit soon. TJ and I are the cavity kings!

What makes you cry?

The last time I cried was on stage 'cause I was so happy. I always get so emotional then - it's a dream come true! But the last time I cried in sadness was when my mother passed away. That was three years ago but it still hurts and I always miss her but I know she's with me on stage, or wherever I am. A day never passes when I don't think of her.

When was the last time you felt really betrayed by someone?

I've felt betrayed by loads of radio stations and newspapers. We once gave heaps of our time to do a bunch of interviews for a newspaper in the UK and the only headline they could come up with was, 'We Love You Uncle Wacko!' It's awful and it really hurt 'cause we never said that. There's other situations too, like when radio stations don't play your album. Or when you deserve to get an award but no one even acknowledges your presence. It's pretty frustrating.

Does it really upset you when people knock 3T?

Oh sure. I read this thing the other day where another group said, '3T are fooling you', meaning that 3T don't have any talent and that we're just an act. It was upsetting 'cause I enjoy their work and I thought it was a cheap shot. I don't want to say who they are but we'll show them!

Do 3T have a motto?

'Brotherhood' - if we stick together we can accomplish anything! Trouble is we do argue quite a bit. We have a system called, 'Two against one'. If two agree and the one doesn't then he has to go with the majority vote. On music it's usually Taryll and TJ who gang up on me, but on the videos me and TJ tall Taryll what's what.

Are you superstitious?

Yeah. I used to wear my lucky Three Stooges boxer shorts every day but I had to put a stop to that.

'Cause they got dirty?

No! I figured I'd go completely crazy if I ever lost them. So on the last tour I left them at home. I felt OK but on one of the first nights the mic slipped from my hand and I hit a fan!

How often do you go to church?

Never. I used to go and I still believe in a higher being but I don't have the time these days. I don't feel guilty cause I'm still following the same path in terms of what I will or won't do.

Do you think it's OK to get into fisticuffs over someone you love?

If she started it by flirting with someone else to make me jealous then I don't think I would. It's not worth it. I haven't ever 'actually' been in a fight. I'm a very tolerant person. I think it's 'cause I've been through so much in the past.

Would you like to be a dad one day?

Oh yeah! Sooner rather than later. I'll probably get a lot of letters about this, but I definitely want a son, they're a lot easier to raise. My mum always swore by that, and she should know 'cause she had four sisters.

Do you still miss your mum?

Yes I do. We has a great relationship and I'm glad about that cause if we didn't it would be hard for me to talk about her. But we had the best so I'm very proud of her and I've got really good feelings about her. If we'd had a horrible hate relationship I'd have felt very guilty when she died.

What's the worst thing about fame?

Your public image. The press reckon you've got a lot more money and spare time than you actually have. Also they get the impression that life's more glamorous than it really is.

Who's the best person around you?

One of my brothers but I couldn't choose between them. Taryll gets on my nerves but that doesn't mean TJ doesn't. Taryll knows the code though - he knows what winds me up.
