Now that we have been put right with God through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. He has brought us by faith into this experience of God's grace, in which we now live. travelers on the good ship Oikumene, those who sail over the ocean in other ships, bathers on the happy shores, strugglers in the briney deep, persons who have made shipwreck of their faith(1Ti.1:19), castaways, marooned, drowning, or scuba divers, or surfers, or whatever--God loves each and every one of us and welcomes us aboard!
