Information about SIEC:

Objectives

The fundamental purpose of the Society is to form a bridge between business education and the business world.

SIEC was founded in 1901 in Zürich, and today the headquarter is located in Carson City, Nevada, USA. The General Secretary and Editor is Mr G. Lee Kantin who has moved to Nevada, USA.
 

Currently the following countries have national groups:

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, the Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Iceland, Lithuania, Norway, Scotland, Sierra Leone, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, India and the United States. The addition of further national groups from eastern Europe and the Far East as well as Africa is expected in the near future.

The President of the society is elected for two years and and is eligible for reelection once.

SWEDEN HOSTS SIEC CONFERENCE IN 2003

The annual international conference 2003 will be held  July 28 - August 1 in Stockholm, Sweden.

Membership

Membership is open to individual members who are interested in business education, such as teachers, educators and administrators.
In addition such groups as educational institutions, governmental and non-governmental agencies, industry, trade unions and employer's associations can join as collective members of the society.
