| FOG´s sound is made with
modern music technology and has an acoustic feel. The
sound is a result of a well balance between the sampled
and programmed materials and "real" vocals,
guitars, percussion etc. In the studio FOG use the E-MU e-64 sampler. Beside the sampler the Roland JV-1080 is a central sound source. Other synthesizers that FOG commonly use are nord rack 2, novation Bass Station Rack and Roland Juno-106. |

| Bengt is a classical marimba player and FOG often use the Musser Grand Marimba as well as other percussion instruments in there productions. Acoustic guitars and harmonica are also often used. |  |
| FOG wants the listener to be a part of the song and therefor Svantes vocal is close up in the mix. | |

To get a little more interesting and "dirty" sound FOG sometimes experiments with older instruments and recording tools, such as Binson tape echo and Bullet microphones. |
