Tough Guys

These Guys below, will make sure that no opponents will touch or injury our players. NO MERCY!

Jeff Odgers : Odgers takes the body and plays tough. He loves to forecheck and finds it a special to challenge to outwit goalies who are strong stickhandlers, getting in on top of them quickly to try to force a bad pass. He takes a lots of aggressive penalties, although he has cut down on the bad penalties that hurt his team.

Adam Deadmarsh: Deadmarsh always finishes his checks. He has a strong work ethic with honest toughness. He never backs down from challenge and issues some of his own. He isn´t a dirty player, but he will fight when challenged or stand up for his teammates.

Francois Leroux: A Big Guy(6,6 ht 236 wt), who is capable to beat anyone in this league. But he doesn´t show it every night. His nickname is "Frankenstein".

Wade Belak: Hammered Chris Simon in a pre-season game, 17 PIM in his first three games, and kicked the hell out of Kris King in his first game after the return to Avs from Hersey. Do we´ve to say any more about this guy?

Adam Foote: Foote is big and solid and uses his body well. He is highly aggresive is his defensive zone, and anyone trying to get through Foote to the net will pay a price. He plays it smart and takes few bad penalties. He really stepped up his physical play - possibly a result of gaining confidence after back surgery in 1994 - and dished out some really powerful checks in the playoffs. Foote has good lower body strength and drives his body upwards, resulting in a heavy impact with his unfortunate target. He never shows respect. Did you see when he took care about Lindros earlier this season? Yeah, exactly, Great Footer, GREAT!

René Corbet: King Corbet, that´s what he is! There is probarly no one in the team who plays more with the heart and carisma than him. We consider him as one of the most important players after Roy, Forsberg, Sakic and Lemieux.

Next Generation Ass-Kickers: Kevin Grimes and Wade Belak´s little brother Graham Belak.
