Release party 31st of October at Romo Night

How it went

Wow, what a gig!! The audience were ecstatic and many proved that they had learned our lyrics by heart even before the album was out. Our last song was a special version of Paradise. We started it out with Paraclub and ended up with Paradise. Peter successfully stage dived in the instrumental part of Paraclub.

OK so there were several troubles with the audio system but it had nothing to do with us and I think it did not really matter that much.

We want to thank Romo Night for a great club and everyone who was there making our release party and concert so great.

How we performed

We collected some really cool gear, i.e. no lame 8/12-bit samplers or any other sampler btw.

Then we actually used it! That may sound pretty obvious, but after watching lots of synth-pop bands lately performing "live", we realized that very few bands actually plays anything live. OK maybe so we danced a little less (hey, the stage was minimum), but on the other hand the audience did that for us very well (thanks!!).

Gear we used on stage

Bengt

  • Elka SYNTHEX
  • Roland Juno-106
  • 2 x SIMMONS pads (for percussion and sound fx)
  • Back vocals

Fredrik

  • Sequential Six Trak
  • Korg Mono/Poly
  • Doepher Suitcase (specially modified by our request)
CV/Gate controlled by the Korg Mono/Poly

Peter

  • Lead vocals
  • Solo on the Doepher suitcase that was kindly sponsored by
    Morgan Karlsson at Synthesizer Network.

We also used a back track DAT tape with the basic drums and most of the bass lines.
