Kiefersfelden

Kiefersfelden is on the German side of the Austrian German border, the Austrian city Kufstein it's twin city on the other side. It is located under the watchful eye of the "Zahme Kaiser", or tame emperor, see below in some of his glory, the full understanding of his power beyond my reach as I am just not up to hiking up Alps yet!

We arrived there the day before the wedding and met up with lots of old friends. Ok so they aren't that old, but we don't get to meet that often. We had a great time playing in the hotel and catching up on what had happened since we last met.

Sophie even got her Dad to do tricks for us and make us laugh....

It was a great day, but it was a long day, and it was only the day before the big day, so it is probably just as well that I fell asleep, though if I had been able to, I would have stayed up longer, it was so much fun....
