But in a Dark Future nobody won....
And everybody lost.

Welcome to the year 2046. People made a whole lot of predictions about what would happen in the years following the new millenia. They where right AND wrong. Overpopulation is no longer a problem. Disease, Famine, War and Bioweaponry have declined the population to well below 5 billion. European experts have put the current human population at around 3 billion, but there is no way to confirm this.

The world is finally beginning to recover. But technology has grown beyond our humanity. In Fortress Europa a new era of welf has begun. With colonies on Mars and in the Asteroid Belt. Genetic Engineering is rampant, and nobody but the Europeans know how far they have come. America is struggling to get back on top but is creating even wider chasms between classes; the haves and have nots. In 2046 everybody wants to have some.

Soldiers of Fortune isn't about heroes. It's about survival. The question behind SOF is how much are you willing to sacrifice to survive. And maybe even to succeed.
