"Mind of music":
Another band from Hot Records - this one caught me by surprise, as I had heard nothing of them. Very appealing melody, speed, and performance. Even though the bass could have followed more unique basslines rather than following the guitar most of the time, it came out great. Not to misunderstand... The bass does have some great unique plays - there were just a few examples where it followed the guitar too much. The album also has some of the most impressive art layouts I have seen in this genre. All paintings done by the band's own guitarist, G. Bratset.

”Metal-Core” (USA):
6 tunes of some of the most haunting black metal, mixed in with some doomy parts that made this a rollercoaster of thrills and chills. While the tunes are long they keep you on the edgeas you have no idea of what to expect next. The title track wich comes in 2 parts is a fav of mine from thos disc. An emotional track that will leave you gasping. The band also can break into hyper-speed with their black metal attack as well.

“Metalized” (Denmark):
Yet another black metal band from Norway. I think they must have an assembly-belt industry in oslo and it´s environs. But what can you say, everyone can get a deal nowadays if you hail from Norway, so who can blame them. This time we´ve got a band who surely deserves it. Enthral is Hot Records’ newest offer to the next generation. This is a stylish debute who offers symphonic black metal, with semi-progressive elements. The music is slowly being built up with long intros, for then to explode into a massive hell of blast-beatsand a voice who is able to awaken the dead. I hope that Hot Records also next time are able to come up with something such refreching. If you are in need of something experimenting and different type of black metal, I would recommend Enthral for you.

“Close-Up Magazine” (Sweden):
It’s time for a bit of “new” black metal, witch is the best way for me to describe this when the music but not the lyrics has got its roots in this genre. Enthral from Norway does strangely enough appeal to me through its tastefulness, but after several listenings I really can not tell you why. The way I see it their music offers nothing new, but the atmospheric parts stand in beautiful contrast against the faster grinding parts, and everything is proffesional and well-played. Maybe it couldbe the voice of K. Hektoen who makes Enthral something out of the ordinary. His barbed-wire like voice puts a very special feeling to a not so special album. Some thrash metal-riffs are also coming out just great.

“Marcaroni” (Denmark):
Enthhral was, after what I heard, formed as an outlet to express dark soundscapes and depressive emotions, I must admit that they have succeeded. The music is dark, deeply depressive and sorrowful. This is in fact splendid Nordic black metal with lots of brutality and melody coming with a good production. Remarkable are the compositions, who are compact and far-reaching, that is emphasized with that the six tracks contained have a total playing time of 63 minutes. There is one irritating moment though, and that is the snare-drum. When the music is going very fast it sounds like someone are hitting with something hard against a wooden-plate.

“Scream magazine” (Norway):
I must say that everything have worked out very quickly for the Norwegian black-metal band Enthral. It is not that long ago since the band was without a record deal, and only had a video to show for themselves. In the meantime Hot Records have taken them under their wings, and the album was recorded in record-breaking time. So, how did it turn out? Well, this album contains 6 tracks where the average playing time for each composition is 10 minutes! The music is relatively typical black metal, but the band scores high points due to the melodic slant and each track is highly varied. However, I think that the songs could have been shorter, and that the tempo could have been slowed down a bit, but all in all I must admit that “POTD” is a most promising debut album.

“Norwegian fan”:
A very special album of 6 tracks. It’s Black Metal with a really bitter taste. Even though it’s only such few songs, still 63 minutes long. In the third song even a soprano sings along in about 10 minutes. Just excellent.
